A visit to Porthleven and Porthpean

...a mysterious cave on the beach which is just begging for investigation by some pesky kids, as it is bound to have ghosts, smugglers or some such ne'er do wells involved in some dastardly scheme....ahem

Pendennis castle
...visited Pendennis castle....and all I got was a picture of this rock!
..well, no not really, I did take other pictures...the castle, guns etc but I prefer this picture...maybe I'll post up the others in a Pendennis castle special! ...or not
Lands End
We visited Lands End....and it was shut
and the sign had been removed!
...still, the view was stunning, we imagined what it would have looked like when Denise's parents visited it so very long ago
...and the sunset was gorgeous to watch...
The Monkey Sanctuary

Fowey
just a couple of pictures of Fowey. The Daphne du Maurier festival was on, so you needed a cheque book just to buy a cuppa....

I recommend the park and ride bus trip from the outer limit to the town centre....it rivals many fair ground attraction rides for heart stopping moments....
The Minack Theatre
The visit to the Minack was in memory of my very recently departed work colleague and friend, Dorothy Wright who loved the place and visited it often. It was my sad task to inform her friends there of her passing.
